Throughout the month of September, young local artists were given the opportunity to strengthen their skills through a developmental art training initiative coordinated by the Red Location Gallery Chief Curator, Uthando Baduza and fully sponsored by Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. The programme was managed by Director, Pola Maneli. 

The artists who have not had the benefit of formal training, were selected in late August to be part of the 2019 SKETCHBOOK 2.0: VISUAL ART PROJECT. 

The artists whose artworks were on exhibit at the Art Museum, include: Malibongwe Shawn Sokiya, Nicita Carradice, Grayden Malgas, Brandon Geswint, Damiandré Hill, Muzi Sobuza, Caleb Martin, Phumlile Rawana, Asanda Noduda, Ismaa-eel Bloemmetjie, Thembisile Mandlevu.
