This exhibition pays tribute to the artistic work done by the Keiskamma Trust.
The Trust was set up in the village of Hamburg to promote health and hope through art, music, HIV/AIDS treatment, poverty alleviation projects and education initiatives.
The central display on the exhibition at the Art Museum will be the Keiskamma Guernica, acquired by the city for its art collection in 2010. The tapestry shows the painful struggle of rural communities dealing with the AIDS epidemic.
