LIVING LEGEND EXHIBITION

The Municipality led by the Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture Directorate has launched the Nelson Mandela Bay Legacy Programme which will see a series of community events and activities being held throughout the Bay over the next year.

Branded as "Nelson Mandela Bay Legacy Projects", each of these willreinforce and contribute to the values espoused and exemplified by Nelson Mandela, namely freedom, diversity, unity, justice, hope, human dignity, humanity, love and nation-building. As part of this these Legacy Projects, we will be honouring the Executive Mayor, "Oom Ben” as a ‘Living Legend’ for his immeasurable contribution to the struggle for the liberation of our people.
