Walkabout

The Friends of the Art Museum have the pleasure in inviting you to a walkabout.

The walkabout will be conducted by Emma O'Brien, the Exhibitions Curator on Tuesday, 3 November 2015 at 15h00 at the NMM Art Museum, 1 Park Drive Central

Exhibition title: IN THE BEGINNING….

Works acquired by the city prior to the opening of the Art Museum including a tribute to Victor Jones, a prominent Architect who donated numerous artworks and bequeathed money towards the foundation of the Art Museum in Port Elizabeth. The exhibition will be on show until the 29 November 2015.

Exhibition title: IN THE BEGINNING: THE EARLY ART SCENE AND THE EASTERN PROVINCE SOCIETY OF THE ARTS

A tribute to the early Port Elizabeth art community. Prominent artist’s works on display include Dorothy Kay and Pickford Marriot. The exhibition will be on show until the 4 November 2015.
