The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum will be presenting Visual Art workshops for Children during the school holidays.
Join us for a series of interactive workshops, where kids can unleash their imagination and creativity
Dates are as follows: 6, 8, 9, 10 January 2025.
6 January 2025: Galaxy Exploration - Create vibrant, cosmic artworks inspired by stars, planets, and galaxies.
8 January 2025: Cityscapes and Architecture - Explore urban landscapes, designing and creating cityscapes, buildings, and monuments.
9 January 2025: Self-Portraits and Emotions - Create expressive self-portraits, exploring emotions and facial expressions through art.
10 January 2025: Dream Vacation Collage - Create collages representing dream vacation destinations, using magazine cutouts.
The COST is R30 cash per workshop per child
Time: 9:30am until 12:30pm
Please note:
- BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL as only a limited number of participants can be accommodated.
- You may call or WhatsApp us on 079 4900 690 to book your child’s seat.
- The workshops are for Children between the ages of 7 and 15 years old.
- Bookings work on a first call first serve basis.
- All materials will be provided.
- Please bring along an apron or old clothes.
- Parents are not allowed in the workshop area.
- A child may book a maximum of 4 workshops.
