On the 12 October 2019 at 11:00 an exhibition opening will be held for the exhibition, 2019 SKETCHBOOK 2.0: Visual Art Project.
The 11 young, local artists will present their new work and their works will be for sale. The exhibition will be hosted at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum.
Throughout the month of September, the artists were given an opportunity to strengthen their skills through a developmental art training initiative coordinated by the Red Location Gallery Chief Curator, Uthando Baduza and fully sponsored by Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
The artists who have not had the benefit of formal training, were selected in late August to be part of the 2019 SKETCHBOOK 2.0: Visual Art Project.
