Are you looking for something creative for your children to do during the school holidays?
Then book your children, for the Art Workshops that will be presented at the NMM Art Museum as follows:
DESIGN AND CREATE YOUR OWN MASK
Mask making: Come and create your own African Mask on Monday, then leave them to dry for a day and come back on Wednesday, to paint and decorate your mask. Masks will be inspired by Xhosa designs and will be made with paper Mache’ and found objects.
Two-day workshop: Monday, 10 December and Wednesday, 12 December 2018
Cost: R40 cash for both days, per child.
FABRIC PAINTING
Paint and print patterns on Fabric: Patterns inspired by traditional Xhosa beadwork will be created using stencils and block printing.
One-day workshop: Thursday, 13 December or on Friday, 14 December 2018.
Cost: R30 cash, per child, per day.
BEADING PATTERNS
Draw patterns and create with beads.
One-day workshop: Wednesday, 19 December or on Thursday, 20 December 2018.
Cost: R30 cash, per child, per day.
All materials will be provided.
Please bring along an apron or old clothes and your own packed lunches.
